Mighty Max Strikes Phang (Bluebird Toys) Review
Mighty Max Battle Warrior Review
Mighty Max Strikes Phang is one of the Battle Warrior Playsets. The Set itself forms an action figure (Pharaoh Phang himself) complete with a staff/sword and a whip. The Mummy Venom is housed within the snake head and Mighty Max himself sits within the snake pit in Phang’s chest.
Unlike a lot of Mighty Max Playsets, the Battle Warrior line was designed to act as an action figure itself. For Phang, we have a giant snake god armed with a whip, staff and a flick-projectile. Whereas the Doom Zones and Horror Heads create the theme for the play set, Phang is an integral part of the story. Summoned by the Mummy Venom to crush Mighty Max.
The story here is Mighty Max is able to charm the snakes within the snake pit to escape safely while a missile launched from a nearby temple destroys Pharaoh Phang and the Mummy Venom.
This play set is closely tied with the Palace of Poison Doom Zone, both feature a Snake-pit and have the villain, Venom as an ancient Mummy.
